Matthew Rhys is back as the darker, sadder version of Perry Mason in March when the HBO reboot of the classic courtroom drama returns for its second season. After digging into a complicated conspiracy involving a kidnapped child and an evangelical church with ties to various dealings in Los Angeles, Mason is back for a new case, although the full nature is a bit obscured in this trailer. Chris Chalk is back as Paul Drake and Juliet Rylance is back as Della Street. Shea Whigham also returns as Pete Strickland and Hope Davis, Sean Astin, Tommy Dewey, Paul Raci, and Katherine Waterson are joining the cast.
