Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Swings Onto Disney+ in January (Trailer)
Marvel Studios Animation had a strong 2024 with the incredible X-Men ’97 and a solid final season of What If…? The division is kicking off 2025 with a new Spider-Man animated series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which hits Disney+ in January. Set in an alternate timeline from the “Sacred Timeline” of the MCU, the series follows the early years of Peter Parker (Hudson Thames) as he starts his career as a superhero and his time in high school. In this universe, he finds a mentor in Norman Osborn (Colman Domingo) instead of Tony Stark, which probably won’t have disastrous consequences for Peter. Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy, Charlie Cox (playing Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Kari Wahlgren and Paul F. Tompkins co-star, The look of the show is particularly striking, paying homage to the early days of The Amazing Spider-Man and looking like a animated Silver Age comic. Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man kicks off on Disney+ on January 29th, and you can check out the trailer below.
