Return to Panem in November next year when the second prequel movie, Sunrise on the Reaping, opens in theaters. Taking place 24 years before the first film, the movie follows a young Haymitch Abernathy (Joseph Zada) as he is chosen as one of District 12’s tributes in the 50th Hunger Games, aka The 2nd Quarter Quell. McKenna Grace, Ben Wang, Glenn Close, Ralph Fiennes, Jesse Plemons, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, and Billy Porter co-star. Hunger Games veteran Francis Lawrence is back to direct the film. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is out on November 20th next year, and you can check out the first trailer below.
