Go behind the scenes of the making of Rocky in the upcoming biopic I Play Rocky, hitting theaters in November. Anthony Ippolito stars as Stallone, who is a struggling actor in the early to mid-70s. When he’s not getting the parts he wants, he sets out to write a movie that he can star in, which would become the Oscar-winning Rocky.  Stephan James co-stars as Carl Weathers with AnnaSophia Rob as Sasha Czack, Stallone’s wife. Matt Dillon, P.J Byrne, Toby Kebbell, Tracy Letts, Jay Duplass, and Robert Morgan also co-star. Peter Farrelly is directing the film, but in a rare instance for recent biopics, Stallone is not officially involved in any capacity, although he offered to serve as a consultant on the project. I Play Rocky is in theaters on November 20th, and you can check out the trailer below.
