Coming to Disney XD is a new animated series based on Tron called Tron: Uprising. Uprising takes place between the original Tron and Tron: Legacy and finds young program Beck being trained by Tron to fight the oppression of Clu and his henchman, General Tesler. The voice cast includes Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chirqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens, Nate Corddry, Lance Henriksen and Bruce Boxleitner, reprising his role as Tron. The animation looks pretty great and Disney XD has proved themselves this year with Avengers so I’m excited for this one. The show debuts next year and you can check out the trailer below.
