Jason Bateman makes his directorial debut, and also stars in, Bad Words. Bateman is 40 year old loser who manages to enter the National Spelling Bee due to a loophole and becomes friends with one of the competitors, getting him into all sorts of inappropriate situations and Bateman looks like he’s going to be a hilariously awful asshole. The movie debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival and will most likely be out sometime next year. The trailer below is a Red Band so it may be slightly NSFW.
