Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg are teaming up again for this fall’s Cold War thriller, Bridge of Spies, based on true events. Hanks stars as insurance lawyer James Donovan, who is recruited by the CIA to negotiate an unbelievably tense prisoner swap with the Soviets. Donovan eventually has to travel to East Berlin for the negotiations but at home in the US, he has to deal with the angry public who want the captured Soviet spy’s head. Amy Ryan, Mark Rylance, Scott Shepherd, Sebastian Koch and Alan Alda co-star. It looks like the usual excellence from both Hanks and Spielberg and it’s out in October, check out the trailer below.
