She previously faced off against Mama, but Jessica Chastain is Other Mommy in October for Blumhouse. Arabella Olivia Clark plays Bela, a young girl whose parents are having marital issues. A paranormal entity comes out of her closet, which she dubs “Other Mommy” as it takes the appearance of her mother, Ursula (Chastain). While Bela claims that Other Mommy is usually nice, something sinister is definitely happening. Jay Duplass co-stars as Bela’s father Russ, and Dichen Lachman, Sean Kaufman, Adam Silver, Rosie Anne O’Gorman, and Karen Allen co-star.  Rob Savage, who most recently directed Boogeyman, directed the movie, and it’s based on the book Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman.  Other Mommy is in theaters on October 9th, and you can check out the trailer below.
