After almost stealing the show in Civil War, Tom Holland is back as Peter Parker/Spider-Man for his first solo adventure in the MCU with next summer’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. Sometime after Civil War, Peter is trying to balance high school and being a web slinging hero but both sides of his life are threatened when Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture (Michael Keaton) arrives on the scene. Luckily Peter has something of a mentor in Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) and the final stinger of the trailer of Iron Man and Spidey together in NYC gave me all the goosebumps. This looks great, Spidey has the classic wings back on his suit, Vulture has gotten a cool, threatening, modern update and just the fact that Spidey is back in the MCU is what we’ve always wanted. Homecoming is out on July 7th next summer and you can check out the trailer below.
