Revealed last year at The Game Awards, Telltale Games first major collaboration with Marvel will be next month’s Guardians of the Galaxy game, with Episode 1 dropping on April 18th. Although definitely taking cues from the MCU, this new game isn’t specifically set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it follows the Guardians responding to a distress call from the Nova Corps when Thanos attacks. Scott Porter plays Star-Lord, Emily O’Brien plays Gamora, Nolan North plays Rocket, Brandon Paul Eells plays Drax and Adam Harrington plays Groot. The series will also be available as a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ on May 2nd if you need a physical copy of your game. It seems like it’s taking cues from Telltale’s excellent Tales from the Borderlands series, so hopefully that means it will be slightly lighter and more fun than the life or death drama of The Walking Dead or Game of Thrones.
