Inhumans have been active in the MCU since Season 2 of Agents of SHIELD but the royal family is arriving in September in a special even in both IMAX theaters and ABC. Led by Black Bolt (Anson Mount), the Inhumans have been hiding on the Moon but Black Bolt’s brother Maximus the Mad (Iwan Rheon) wants them to move to Earth (and most likely try to conquer it because he’s a crazy asshole) and he leads a coup against Black Bolt, Black Bolt’s wife Medusa (Serinda Swan), Karnak (Ken Leung), Auran (Sonya Balamores), Crystal (Isabelle Cornish) and Gorgon (Eme Ikwuakor), who flee to Hawaii thanks to the lovable teleporting bulldog Lockjaw. I’m not really sold based on this trailer and even less so since Scott Buck is showrunning this after running Iron Fist on Netflix, and we all know how that turned out. The show debuts in IMAX theaters on September 1st and starts airing on ABC on September 29th. Check out the trailer below.
