Debuting on Netflix in two weeks, The Ritual find a group of UK buddies in what seems like a similar situation to a certain infamous patch of woods in Maryland. Rafe Spall, Robert James-Collier, Sam Troughton and Arsher Ali are the group of college friends who reunite for a camping/hiking trip in the woods as a way to honor another friend who has died but soon they find that something sinister is stalking them as they find animal carcasses hung up in trees and they all start having strange, disturbing visions. It’s directed by David Bruckner, who previously directed the “Amateur Night” section of the first VHS and the horror movie Southbound. The movie hits Netflix on February 9th and you can check out the trailer below.
