Reteaming with his La La Land star, Damien Chazelle is back to tell the story of the first Moon landing from Neil Armstrong’s perspective in First Man. Ryan Gosling gets into the spacesuit of Armstrong, who is chosen to command the Apollo 11 mission and eventually became the first man to walk on the moon. Corey Stoll co-stars as Buzz Aldrin and Claire Foy plays Janet Armstrong. There’s also a murderer’s row of supporting actors on-board as well including Pablo Schreiber, Ciaran Hinds, Kyle Chandler, Jason Clarke, Patrick Fugit, Ethan Embry, Shea Whigham, Lukas Haas and Brian D’arcy James. The movie looks like a solid biopic and will most likely be one of the big contenders come Oscar time. First Man arrives on October 12th and you can check out the trailer below.
