Star Wars Celebration 2019 in Chicago got off to a big start with the first teaser for Star Wars Episode 9, now officially Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Following the events of The Last Jedi, Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyeaga) and Poe (Oscar Isaac) are on a new quest for the Resistance that seems like it will bring them face to face with the past, including what seems like some sort of return of Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid). Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is also now the unquestioned leader of The First Order and looking to destroy the Resistance and Lando Calrissian (Billy Dee Williams) makes his triumphant post-ROTJ debut. JJ Abrams is back to direct and the movie is out on December 20th, 2019, check out the first trailer below.
