The obsession of little girls everywhere, the Frozen gang is back this coming weekend in Frozen II but back in the day, Barbie ruled the roost and was so huge, she got a ton of ancillary products outside the main toyline, including the truly insane Barbie Dance Club from 1989. A 30-minute promo tape, the video features a group of kids dancing to six different Barbie themed songs/music videos and learning the Barbie Dance from none other than Paula Abdul. Of course, in recent years one cast member has eclipsed all others, and even Barbie herself, the immortal god Duane. From the instant the video starts, there was and is only Duane with his fresh dance moves and sage answers to questions like “How do you keep up with the latest fashion trends?”.
