Jennifer Lopez is going full action hero in May, just in time for Mother’s Day, when The Mother hits Netflix. J.Lo plays “The Mother”, a CIA assassin who is forced to give up her daughter at birth in order to try to protect her from dangerous enemies. 12 years later, her enemies find her daughter, which draws her out of hiding and into an all-out war to protect her daughter and take out anyone threatening her. Joseph Fiennes, Omari Hardwick, Gael Garcia Bernal, Paul Raci, Lucy Perez, Jesse Garcia, and Yvonne Senat Jones co-star with Niki Caro, who most recently directed the live-action Mulan, directing. The Mother hits Netflix on May 12th and you can check out the trailer below.
