If you’re a Resident Evil fan, you’re getting an equivalent of an Avengers-style team-up in July with the latest RE animated movie, Death Island. Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers are all together as they investigate a new outbreak originating out of Alcatraz. A new and dangerous strain of the T-Virus is being unleashed, turning people (and animals like sharks) almost immediately into bloodthirsty monsters and the RE team has to stop it before it can spread outside of San Fransisco. Erin Cahill, Matt Mercer, Kevin Dorman, Stephanie Panisello and Nicole Tompkins are the main voice cast, with Panisello and Tompkins reprising their roles as Claire and Jill from the RE2 and RE3 remakes respectively while most of the rest of the cast have provided voices for previous RE animated movies. Resident Evil: Death Island is out on July 25th and you can check out the trailer below.
