
Star Wars returns to theaters for the first time since The Rise of Skywalker with The Mandalorian and Grogu in May. Picking up from the third season of the Disney+ series, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his apprentice Grogu are recruited by the New Republic to hunt down several Imperial warlords who have sprung up after the Galactic Empire’s defeat at Endor. They also have to deal with the Hutts, including Jabba’s son Rotta, voiced by Jeremy Allen White. For animated Star Wars fans, Zeb (Steve Blum) from Rebels appears in the movie along with bounty hunter Embo from The Clone Wars, who is voiced by Dave Filoni. Sigourney Weaver and Jonny Coyne co-star, and Martin Scorsese has a cameo. Jon Favreau directed the film, and he and Filoni co-wrote. The Mandalorian and Grogu will arrive in theaters on May 22nd, and you can check out the new trailer below.
