
Nicolas Cage makes the leap from animation to live-action as his Spider-Verse character Ben Reilly, aka Spider-Man Noir, when the Amazon series Spider-Noir debuts in May. An aging private eye who has hung up his web shooters as this alternate universe’s only superhero. When a mysterious new case comes his way via a femme fatale nightclub singer, Cat Hardy (Li Jun Li), he gets drawn into an underworld conspiracy that puts him into conflict with Irish crime boss Silvermane (Brendan Gleeson) and several superpowered villains. Lamorne Morris, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Lukas Haas, Andrew Lewis Caldwell, and Jack Mikesell co-star. Writer, director, and producer Oren Uziel, who previously worked on Mortal Kombat: Rebirth, 22 Jump Street, and The Lost City, developed the series with Spider-Verse executive producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who are also on board.  Spider-Noir is available on May 27th on Prime Video in both “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color” versions, and you can check out the black & white trailer below.
