There was lots of speculation near the end of the week about who would be wearing the power ring of the Green Lantern. Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake were all said to be in contention but it appears that Van Wilder has won the role. The movie will focus on Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern as he and the Guardians of the Universe fend off the likes of Sinestro and Legion. There’s no word yet about how this would affect a Deadpool movie (also starring Reynolds) but a lot of fans are worried it might not happen.
