Now that everyone knows who Thor is thanks to his first solo movie and The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World looks to dive fully into the craziness of the Nine Realms and the fantasy side of the Marvel Universe. An ancient evil, Malekith the Dark Elf, launches an attack on both Asgard and Earth, allowing Thor to reunite with Jane Foster in order to protect her and forcing him to team up with Loki, who is the only one who understands Malekith’s power. It seems like hopefully they will flesh out some of the other Asgardians, like Heimdall and Sif and head to some other realms, making this the epic Thor story we all want to see. The action looks fantastic, which may be because Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor, who directed the fantastic episode Blackwater episode along with a bunch of others. The movie is out in November and you can check out the trailer below.
