James Wan has The Conjuring 2 hitting theaters this summer and he also produced another horror movie that is hitting in the summer, Lights Out. The feature film debut of David F. Sandberg, who will be directing Annabelle 2 in the near future, Lights Out follows a family haunted by a terrifying entity that only exists in the darkness when there are no lights on. Teresa Palmer, Gabriel Bateman and Maria Bello are the family, with Bello being the mother whose childhood friend may be the entity haunting them now. It looks pretty creepy and the entity almost has a Weeping Angel from Doctor Who vibe, as each time the lights go on and off, it’s closer and closer to it’s victims. The movie is out in July and you can check out the trailer below.
