Possibly the most insane movie coming out this year, the first trailer for Geostorm has arrived where Gerard Butler must head into space to stop a network of satellites designed to control the weather that are destroying the Earth with superstorms while his brother has to work on the ground to stop the assassination of the President. It’s basically The Day After Tomorrow crossed with Olympus Has Fallen plus Space. Roland Emmerich disaster producer Dean Devlin is making his directorial debut with Geostorm and it co-stars Kathryn Winnick, Ed Harris, Andy Garcia, Abbie Cornish and Jim Sturgess and it hits on October 20th.
