After taking a break after the terrible Jurassic World Dominion, the Jurassic franchise is back this summer with Jurassic World Rebirth. Five years after Dominion, the dinosaurs set loose into the world live in various tropical regions around the equator. Paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) is recruited for a top-secret mission to retrieve the DNA of the three largest species, which is the key to a potential miracle drug. Joined by covert operatives Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) and Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali), the expedition is shipwrecked on an island that was a lost research facility for INGEN, where deadly failed experiments have been living undisturbed for decades. Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, and David Iacono co-star. Gareth Edwards, who most recently directed The Creator, is directing the movie. Hopefully, this will reboot the Jurassic franchise in a better direction, and it’s out on July 2nd. Check out the trailer below.
