The neon-soaked action title Neon Inferno is getting a new release date of November 20th. Zenovia Interactive and Retroware have delayed the launch from the initial date of October 2 to a month later to ensure that this 2D run-and-gun and gallery shooter is available on all platforms at once, so every gamer, no matter which preferred system, can enjoy it this fall. This extension also provides the team with more development time to add additional features and post-release content.
Set in 2055, Neon Inferno has players take on the role of underworld assassins as they survive the neon-lit chaos of New York City’s war-torn streets. Criminal syndicates rule the boroughs, clashing with rivals and the corrupt NYPD in a relentless war for dominance. Within this dystopian battlefield, a rising crime family takes its first steps to dominate the city.

Neon Inferno delivers a dynamic mix of gameplay, allowing players to battle across both the foreground and background, inspired by classic retro titles such as Contra and Wild Guns. The game’s sci-fi cityscape bursts to life in glorious 32-bit pixel art, accompanied by an evocative soundtrack that drives the chaos forward. With two-player co-op, players double the firepower and hectic pacing. Neon Inferno offers a challenge that gamers with twitching fingers will find satisfying to play.
The digital release of Neon Inferno is November 20th, and will be available on Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam online storefronts. A physical release date will be announced shortly after. For more details, follow NeonInferno.com or add Neon Inferno to your Steam Wishlist today.
