Origins: Remmick is an ancient Irish vampire. Centuries ago, he belonged to a pagan vampire community in Ireland. Over time, grief, cultural loss, and isolation shaped his character, driving him to seek a new “family” for himself in the American South. In 1932, in Mississippi, he becomes obsessed with Sammie Moore, a gifted musician whose supernatural musical ability Remmick believes can help him summon the spirits of his long-dead kin.
