A year after the end of the Clone Wars, Maul (Sam Witwer) is looking for revenge in Maul – Shadow Lord on Disney+. Following his defeat by Darth Sidious and escaping his capture by the Galactic Republic, Maul is looking to rebuild his Shadow Syndicate and find an apprentice to help him get revenge on those who betrayed him. He finds a young Jedi named Devon Izara (Gideon Adlon), who joins him in an uneasy alliance as their goals of destroying the Empire align. Maul is also hunted by a detective, Brander Lawson (Wagner Moura), who works for the police department on the planet Janix, where Maul is currently operating. Dennis Haysbert, Richard Ayoade, Chris Diamantopoulos, Vanessa Marshall, A. J. LoCascio, and Steve Blum co-star. Dave Filoni created the series and serves as an executive producer. The series consists of 10 episodes, with the first two debuting on April 6th, followed by two episodes a week leading up to May 4th. Check out the new trailer below.
