The always excellent Matthew Rhys is heading to Apple TV at the end of April for the horror/comedy series, Widow’s Bay. Rhys plays Tom Loftis, the mayor of the titular New England town, which the local residents believe is cursed. While skeptical, horrific things start to happen around town and to Loftis himself that seem likely to change his opinion. Stephen Root, Kate O’Flynn, Kingston Rumi Southwick, Kevin Carroll, and Dale Dickey co-star. The series was created by Katie Dippold, who wrote for Parks & Recreation and co-wrote the 2016 Ghostbusters movie, and music video director Hiro Murai. Widow’s Bay is out on April 29th, and you can check out the trailer below.
