A beloved 90s classic, you can go behind the scenes of Wishbone with the new documentary film, What’s the Story, Wishbone? Directed by Joey Stewart, who served as second unit and first assistant director on 41 episodes of Wishbone, the documentary goes behind the scenes to show how the series came to be and how the team recreated classic literature with a Jack Russell terrier as the star. The documentary features interviews and commentary from Larry Brantley, who voiced Wishbone, along with creator Rick Duffield, head writer Stephanie Simpson, comedian and actor Mo Rocca (who wrote on 12 episodes of the series), George W. Bush, Dan Rather, and more. The documentary will premiere on Public Television Stations (formerly known as the Public Broadcasting Service) from May 27th through June 9th, and then debut on TVOD/Digital platforms on June 10th.
