Up to Speed: X-Men ’97 Season 2

It’s been over two years, but X-Men ’97 is finally back on Disney+, with the first three episodes of Season 2 debuting on the streaming platform.  Picking up from the ending of the beloved 90s animated series, the new series finds the X-Men under the leadership of Magneto (Matthew Waterson) and facing new and old threats, including Bastion (Theo James) and his next-generation mutant-hunting Sentinels.  The first season ended with the X-Men cast across time, with the threat of Apocalypse (Ross Marquand) looming over all of the time periods.  If you need a refresher on what happened in Season 1, Marvel Entertainment released a recap on its official YouTube channel, which you can check out below.
