At their peak levels of selling out and pop culture ubiquity, the Turtles unleashed what may be the worst Christmas special in history with We Wish You A Turtles Christmas. The thin plot finds the Turtles realizing they have forgotten to get Splinter a gift for the holidays so they set out into New York City, in full view of the public, to try and find something, taking many excruciating breaks for songs such as “Wrap Rap” and “Gotta Get a Gift for Splinter”.
