The Guardians are finally back in theaters this coming weekend and they brought along the next volume of the Awesome Mix. Featuring hits like The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, Surrender by Cheap Trick and deeper cuts like Wham Bam Shang-a-Lang by Silver and Lakeshore Drive by Aliotta Haynes Jeremiah, the real surprise is the brand new song from “The Sneepers” featuring the one and only David Hasselhoff. Basically a Guardians take on the disco Star Wars theme by Meco, it features the Hoff dropping rhymes about the Guardians crew like “I didn’t learn parenting/My daddy was a planet”. It’s not quite up to the level of True Survivor but it’s still the good kind of ridiculous and The Hoff is supposed to have some sort of cameo in the movie as well.
