Keira Knightley is a London spy looking for revenge in the upcoming Netflix thriller series Black Doves. Knightley plays Helen, who has a seemingly everyday life and family but is secretly a trained covert agent. Risking everything in a passionate affair, Helen’s lover is murdered, and she becomes a target of the London criminal underworld. The agency Helen works for calls in an old colleague, Sam (Ben Whishaw), to help protect Helen and her family, but events keep escalating as Helen tries to track down who was responsible for the killing. Sarah Lancashire, Andrew Koji, Andrew Buchan, Omari Douglas, and Kathryn Hunter co-star. The show was created by Joe Barton, who previously made the UK shows The Lazarus Project and Giri/Haji. The show has already been renewed for a second season before this upcoming first season arrives on Netflix on December 5th. Check out the trailer below.
