Serial Arsonists Strike the Pacific Northwest in Smoke (Trailer)
Taron Egerton is reteaming with Dennis Lehane after working together on Black Bird for the new Apple TV+ crime drama miniseries, Smoke. Egerton is arson investigator Dave Gudsen, who is teamed with Detective Michell Calderon (Jurnee Smollett) to investigate a pair of serial arsonists who are setting devastating fires in the Pacific Northwest. As they investigate, Calderon becomes suspicious that Gudsen may be playing both sides and may be one of the arsonists they are after. Rafe Spall, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Hannah Emily Anderson, Anna Chlumsky, Adina Porter, Greg Kinnear, and John Leguizamo co-star. The series is inspired by the true crime podcast Firebug, which detailed the arson of John Leonard Orr. Smoke debuts on June 27th, and you can check out the trailer below.
