Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson are Armored Truck Drivers in The Pickup (Trailer)
Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson are armored truck drivers caught up in a heist plot in The Pickup. Directed by Tim Story, who previously brought us 2019’s Shaft and the Ride Along movies, the movie finds Murphy and Davidson ambushed en route in their armored truck and taken hostage. The mastermind behind the ambush is Zoe (Keke Palmer), with whom Travis (Davidson) had a weekend fling and revealed most of the details of his job to. Zoe forces the pair to help with a massive heist of a local casino, using Russell’s (Murphy) wife, played by Eva Longoria, as leverage. Marshawn Lynch, Jack Kesy, Roman Reigns, Andrew Dice Clay, and Ismael Cruz Córdova co-star. The movie will be available on Prime Video starting August 6th, and you can view the trailer below.
