Liam Neeson is on the Case in The Naked Gun (Trailer)

Liam Neeson continues the legacy of the Police Squad with the release of The Naked Gun in theaters in August.  Directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer, who most recently directed Chip N Dale: Rescue Rangers, Neeson plays Frank Drebin Jr., the son of Leslie Nielsen’s Frank Drebin.  Along with Capt. Ed Hocken Jr. (Paul Walter Hauser), Frank has to investigate a murder brought in by femme fatale Beth (Pamela Anderson) while Police Squad is also on the verge of being shut down.  Kevin Durand, Danny Huston, Liza Koshy, Cody Rhodes, CCH Pounder, Busta Rhymes, and Eddy Yu co-star.  Schaffer co-wrote the script with Dan Gregor and Doug Mand.  The Naked Gun is out on August 1st, and you can check out the trailer below.
