The Alien franchise gets its first-ever TV series from creator Noan Hawley when Alien: Earth debuts in August on FX/Hulu. Set two years before the first Alien, the show follows a spaceship that crash-lands on Earth. It was on a mission to gather some of the deadliest creatures in the universe, including the Xenomorph, and now they are all loose on our planet. The first human/android hybrid, Wendy (Sydney Chandler), is part of a team of soldiers tasked with tracking down and destroying the escaped aliens, alongside Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, and Adarsh Gourav. Hawley wrote or co-wrote every episode of the series and directed the first episode. There will be eight episodes total, and the first two premiere on FX and FX on Hulu on August 12th.
