Following the smash-hit first film, the killer animatronic mascots return in December for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2. Sometime after surviving the events of the first film, Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) are pursuing a relationship while Abby (Piper Rubio) misses her “friends” at Freddy Fazbear’s. When she receives a mysterious message that appears to be from Freddy and the gang, she runs away to find them, but the bots have left the pizzeria and are now in the outside world. Matthew Lillard is back as the sadistic William Afton with Skeet Ulrich, Wayne Knight, McKenna Grace, and Teo Briones joining the cast. Emma Tammi, who directed the first movie, is back to direct. The film will release exclusively in theaters on December 5th, with no simultaneous Peacock release, unlike the first movie. Check out the trailer below.
