Adding another iconic franchise to their game catalog, which includes Ghostbusters, Predator, and Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Illfonic, along with co-publisher Gun Interactive, which created The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game, is releasing Halloween next year. Currently in early development, Halloween will feature both single-player story missions, bot matches, and full online multiplayer. One player controls The Shape himself, Michael Myers, stalking and killing the other players, who are “Civilians” who are looking to survive the rampage. Michael can cut phone lines and kill power, so he can strike from the darkness, while the Civilians can warn neighbors and try to find a way to contact the police. There will be multiple maps and a score inspired by John Carpenter’s iconic music. The game is coming out for PC, Xbox Series S/X, and PlayStation 5 in 2026, and you can check out the teaser trailer below.
