
The recently revived publisher Acclaim, which earned recognition for bringing some of the most iconic titles to living rooms for more than two decades, offered a brief look at its future today while teasing a major announcement for next week.
Acclaim first made its mark in the gaming scene in the 80s with titles for NES and GameBoy. By the 90s, Acclaim had published licensed games of The Punisher, The Simpsons, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Judge Dredd, and South Park. Acclaim stated it is focused on creating lasting experiences designed to keep players engaged, adding that a major new chapter for the company will be announced soon
