There have been several documentaries exploring the twisted story of serial killer John Wayne Gacy and his victims, but Peacock is going the dramatized route with Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy in October. Michael Chernus stars as Gacy, and it appears that the show will primarily focus on the aftermath following the discovery of his victims’ bodies under the floor of his house and his trial. Gabriel Luna, James Badge Dale, Michael Angarano, Chris Sullivan, Malin Ireland and Thom Nyhuus co-star. The show was created by Patrick Macmanus, who is also responsible for Happy!, Marco Polo, and Dr. Death. Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy will be an 8-episode series and starts streaming on October 16th. Check out the trailer below.
