It’s been a massive year for Tim Robinson, with Friendship debuting in theaters earlier this year and now The Chair Company arriving on HBO/HBO Max in October. Robinson plays William Ronald Trosper, who starts investigating the company he works for after an embarrassing incident and believes a massive and far-reaching conspiracy is going on. Given Robinson’s previous work, this could also be some deranged fantasy that his character has come up with, and everything is actually perfectly fine—Lake Bell, Sophia Lillis, Will Price, Joseph Tudisco, and Lou Diamond Phillips co-star. Robinson co-created the series with Zach Kanin, who also co-created Detroiters and I Think You Should Leave with Robinson. SNL vets John Solomon and Sarah Schneider also wrote on the series, and Adam McKay is an executive producer. The Chair Company debuts on HBO/HBO Max on October 12th, and you can check out the trailer below.
