Origins: Edith Brennan was a woman who escaped from an asylum in the late 1800s after killing a nun and kidnapping her baby. While fleeing through the woods, Edith fell from a cliff into the woods below, dying on impact—her baby torn from her arms and left behind. Trapped in a restless state between life and death, her spirit lingered, warped by grief and obsession. Over a century later, Mama’s ghost finds two orphaned sisters, Victoria and Lilly, in the same forest and claims them as her own, leading to a tragic clash when the girls are rescued years later.
