The cult-favorite board game Eldritch Horror is getting the digital treatment. Cornerstone Software Development, teaming with asmodee and Fantasy Flight Games, has announced Eldritch Horror: Digital Edition, a modern adaptation of the cooperative, globe-trotting mystery game.
Like the tabletop original, players assemble a team of investigators and set out to battle cultists, survive nightmarish encounters, and uncover the secrets of four different Ancient Ones before the world plunges into doom. Up to eight playable characters—each fully voiced—can explore cities, trek across continents, slip into Other Worlds, and confront monsters pulled straight from Lovecraft-inspired lore.

The digital version expands on the board game’s storytelling roots with branching events, hundreds of encounters, original noir-style artwork, and a haunting score that captures the feel of 1920s supernatural adventure. Turn-based gameplay mixes strategy, resource management, and roguelite elements, ensuring each run unfolds like its own atmospheric horror story.
Cornerstone Software says its goal is to stay true to what made the board game a hit while enhancing the experience with immersion that only a digital format can provide.
Eldritch Horror: Digital Edition launches early 2026, and you can wishlist it on Steam.
