Atari and Digital Eclipse are bringing a wave of ’90s nostalgia back to Nintendo consoles with The Disney Afternoon Collection – Updated Edition, launching exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
The refreshed collection brings together eight classic Disney games from the NES and SNES eras, marking their first appearance on Nintendo hardware in more than 30 years. New to the lineup are the SNES favorites Goof Troop and Bonkers, joining beloved classics like DuckTales, Chip’ n Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, and TaleSpin.
Alongside the retro goodness, the collection includes modern quality-of-life upgrades such as rewind, save anywhere, and new Time Attack and Boss Rush modes with online leaderboards for the NES titles. Fans can also dig into a Digital Eclipse–curated Gallery, packed with archival Disney materials, plus a Music Player featuring tracks from all eight games.
Digital and physical editions are available to pre-order now, with digital versions launching February 26 and physical Switch and Switch 2 editions—loaded with collectible extras—shipping in May. For longtime Disney Afternoon fans and retro gamers alike, this collection is a nostalgia-packed return worth celebrating.
