The Green Lanterns arrive in the new DC Universe in August when Lanterns debuts on HBO Max. Kyle Chandler is Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre is John Stewart, with Jordan giving Stewart an unorthodox training to become a Lantern. The pair arrive in a small town in Nebraska and start to investigate a murder, which leads them into something bigger and darker going on. Kelly Macdonald, Nathan Fillion (as fellow Green Lantern Guy Gardner), Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Ulrich Thomsen (as Sinestro), Nicole Ari Parker, Jason Ritter, Sherman Augustus, and Paul Ben-Victor co-star. The series was created by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King. James Gunn and Peter Safran are serving as executive producers. The series debuts in August with an eight-episode first season. Check out the trailer below.
