Obsession hits theaters this weekend, and back in 1993, Alicia Silverstone was dangerously obsessed with Cary Elwes in The Crush, which you can watch in the latest Everything Action Theater. Making her film debut, Silverstone plays teenager Adrian (or Darian depending on the version you saw) Forrester, the daughter of a couple who rent out their guest house to handsome magazine reporter Nick Eliot (Elwes). Making her attraction to Nick known, he tries to rebuff her advances, but she goes to increasingly dangerous lengths to get his attention and fend off any rivals to her affection. The movie didn’t fare well critically, but it was a box-office hit and became even more popular on home video and cable. It’s become a cult favorite alongside other 90s erotic/psychological thrillers. You can check out the entire movie below, thanks to the Shout! Studios Youtube channel.
