Just in time for the start of the World Cup, Allplay has released Golden Goal. Designed by Corné van Moorsel with art by Sai Beppu, Golden Goal pits two players against each other in a sudden-death tie, with the first goal winning the game.

The box includes a roll-out field mat, and each team gets five players, including 1 keeper/goalie. After placing your players on the pitch, you have a kickoff, and the players roll the dice to determine who wins. After the kickoff, players take turns rolling the dice and moving their players. If you move a player onto the ball, you kick it, and you can chain passes if you have players in position and enough movement left over from your dice roll.

The game takes about 15 minutes to complete. You can check out the game now on Allplay’s website, and it’s $9 to buy a copy.
