Robert Eggers Tackles Another Monster with Werwulf (Trailer)

Following up Nosferatu, Robert Eggers is tackling another classic monster this Christmas with Werwulf.  Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays a farmer who is cursed to become a werewolf, which appears to have been inflicted on him in some dark ritual when he was a boy.  Lily-Rose Depp plays his wife while Eggers’ regulars Willem Dafoe and Ralph Ineson co-star.  Along with directing, Eggers reunited with his The Northman writing partner, Sjón, to write the film.  It looks like everything we’ve come to expect from a Robert Eggers horror movie, and Werwulf will be out on Christmas Day.  Check out the trailer below.
