Everything Action Theater: Are You Afraid of the Dark? “The Tale of Laughing in the Dark”
Clown in a Cornfield hits theaters this weekend and introduces Frendo the Clown into the pantheon of horror’s evil clowns. In the 90s, SNICK fans were terrorized by Zeebo from the Are You Afraid of the Dark? episode, “The Tale of Laughing in the Dark”, which you can watch in the latest Everything Action Theater. Just the second episode of the show, the episode is told by Midnight Society member Betty Ann (Raine Pare-Coull) and follows a kid named Josh (Christian Tessier) who steals the nose off a funhouse clown named Zeebo (Aron Tager). Things get terrifying for Josh when Zeebo begins stalking him, looking for his missing nose. Many fans consider the episode the scariest and best of the series, and Zeebo was referenced several times throughout the series. You can check out the entire episode below via YouTube.
